Psychedelic Integration Coaching Agreement

“Coach” and “Client” Collectively referred to as the “Parties.”

1. Purpose and Scope of Coaching

The Client engages the Coach to provide psychedelic integration coaching, which may include reflective discussion, goal-setting, mindfulness practices, lifestyle support, meaning-making, and personal development related to past psychedelic or non-ordinary state experiences.

The Client understands and agrees that:

  • Coaching is not therapy, not medical care, and not mental health treatment.
  • Coaching does not include the diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of any mental or physical health condition.

The Coach does not provide, recommend, administer, or supervise the use of psychedelic substances or any other controlled substances.

2. Client Responsibility and Informed Consent

The Client acknowledges and agrees that:

  • They are fully responsible for their own physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being, decisions, and actions.
  • Any insights, interpretations, or suggestions offered by the Coach are not guarantees of outcomes.
  • Psychedelic experiences and their integration can involve intense emotional material, uncertainty, or discomfort.

The Client affirms that they are voluntarily participating in coaching and have the capacity to do so.

3. Medical and Mental Health Disclaimer

The Client understands and agrees that:

  • The Coach is not acting as a physician, psychologist, psychiatrist, therapist, or other licensed healthcare provider, unless explicitly stated and legally permitted.
  • Coaching is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, psychiatric, or legal advice.
  • The Client is encouraged to seek appropriate professional support for any medical or mental health concerns.

If the Client has a history of serious mental health conditions (including but not limited to psychosis, bipolar disorder, or active suicidal ideation), they agree to disclose this and understand that coaching may not be appropriate.

4. Client Autonomy and Choice

The Client acknowledges and affirms that:

  • They are the expert on their own lived experience.
  • They may decline to answer any question or engage in any exercise without explanation.
  • The pace and depth of integration work will be guided by the Client’s capacity and consent.

The Coach commits to respecting the Client’s boundaries and encourages ongoing feedback.

5. Emotional Risk and Self-Regulation

The Client understands that integration work may involve:

  • Recalling emotionally intense or confusing experiences
  • Encountering unresolved feelings, memories, or body sensations
  • Periods of uncertainty, vulnerability, or emotional activation

The Coach will support resourcing and grounding practices; however, the Client agrees they are responsible for communicating when they feel overwhelmed and for seeking additional support when needed.

6. No Facilitation of Psychedelic Use or Illegal Activity

The Client understands and agrees that:

  • The Coach does not provide guidance on sourcing, dosing, preparation, facilitation, or administration of psychedelic substances.
  • Integration coaching focuses exclusively on post-experience processing and meaning-making.
  • All discussions of substances are educational or reflective in nature only.

The Client assumes full responsibility for their choices and for compliance with all applicable laws.

7. No Facilitation of Illegal Activity

The Client acknowledges that:

  • The Coach does not assist with obtaining, using, dosing, or administering illegal substances.
  • Any discussion of psychedelic substances is educational, reflective, or integration-focused only, and does not constitute encouragement or facilitation of illegal activity.

The Client assumes full responsibility for complying with all applicable local, state/provincial, and federal laws.

8. Confidentiality

The Coach agrees to keep all Client information confidential, including session content, personal disclosures, and identifying information, except in the following circumstances:

  • When disclosure is required by law (e.g., court order, subpoena).
  • When there is a reasonable belief of imminent risk of serious harm to the Client or others.
  • When the Client provides explicit written consent to share information.

Confidentiality applies to coaching sessions but does not constitute legally protected therapist–client privilege.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Client agrees that:

  • The Coach shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from coaching services.
  • The Client releases and holds harmless the Coach from any claims, losses, or liabilities related to decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from coaching.

The Client understands that integration coaching involves subjective interpretation and personal meaning-making, and results vary widely.

10. Indemnification

The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Coach from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from:

  • The Client’s actions or decisions
  • Misuse or misinterpretation of coaching discussions
  • Any violation of laws or regulations by the Client

11. Session Logistics and Fees

  • Fee: $125/hr
  • Payment method and timing: Paypal or Stripe when scheduling
  • Cancellation policy: 24 hours notice is required

12. Termination

Either Party may terminate this Agreement at any time with written notice. Any outstanding fees for services rendered prior to termination remain due.

13. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Parties and supersedes all prior discussions or agreements. Any amendments must be made in writing and signed by both Parties.

15. Acknowledgment and Acceptance

By completing the form and checking below, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the terms of this Agreement.
